Building on our successful academic team we are seeking to make the following appointments.
Casual Lecturers
The Faculty seeks expressions of interest from appropriately qualified people to join their highly acclaimed team as casual lecturers in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in primary, secondary, adult, vocational & workplace education, and language literacy and numeracy education.
To be eligible you need to have significant experience, either as an academic or professional specialising in one of the teaching areas listed above, and you need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of professional practice and current issues relevant to your field. Successful experience in university teaching or in offering professional development courses for educators is highly desirable.
- Casual pay rate from $132 per hour - Face-to-face, weekend block, distance modes, day & evenings
Expression of Interest Application Procedure:
The Faculty seeks to recruit casual lecturers twice a year (Oct & April) to work the following semester (March-June and August-Nov). You may forward an expression of interest at anytime to be considered for casual academic employment. Expression of Interests should include a full CV, and a letter addressing the selection criteria and indicating of your preferred teaching areas. By providing an Expression of Interest for this position, you agree that your details may be placed on an Eligibility List for a period of two years.
