Music Therapy Tenth Year Grad Reunion – networking and reminiscing

On Friday evening October 31st, graduates and current students of the Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy gathered at the Kuring-gai campus for a reunion. More than twenty graduates and staff who could not make it nevertheless asked to be remembered with their latest news and whereabouts. Twenty of us did make it, most shown in the photo below.

The evening began with nibbles and chatting to old classmates and then we gathered in our old familiar lecture room to sit in a circle. Since the Grad Dip in Music Therapy is now in its tenth year, we introduced ourselves by mapping who was a student in each year since ‘94. We then exchanged anecdotes, memories of amusing student experiences, and what we've been doing since graduation. It was a valuable time to discover others with similar interests and a contact network has been created. Well done!
