The University wishes to assure students and potential students that regardless of proposals for change being considered at Kuring-gai campus, all courses will continue at the Kuring-gai location for at least another 3 years (until end-2010). The University is evaluating a range of options for change at its campus in Lindfield which may be either educational in nature or non educational. The University is naturally conscious that any long-term decisions it makes regarding change at the campus may impact local residents, community groups, staff and students.
The rules of the University (Rule 3.6) ensure that the University will undertake to make reasonable practicable arrangements to allow students already enrolled in courses to complete the courses within normal time parameters for the course. The University would adhere to such an approach if any courses were to be transferred from Kuring-gai to the City from 2011 at the earliest.
To read more about the review process and options under consideration go to the Kuring-gai News page.
UTS is strongly committed to Teacher Education and has increased places in its courses in response to the governments national priority needs for education.
