The NSW Department of Education, Science, and Training have 230 scholarships available for talented students to train as teachers of;

• Maths
• Science
• Technology and Applied Studies
• English

Students taking these majors in the UTS Bachelor of Teaching in Secondary Education are able to apply for the scholarships. Successful applicants will receive;

• Guaranteed employment as a teacher in a NSW public school
• HECS fees paid for the duration of the scholarship
• $1500 per year training grant
