Steve is a senior manager with a wide range of experience across the areas of education, business and service management and construction.

Steve has particular expertise in project and change management, business improvement, contract and procurement management and business development.

Steve began his career in the UK qualifying as a professional quality surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. From the private sector Steve moved in to local government where he headed a new division responsible for the procurement and management of services to residents and management of an architectural practice. Steve was responsible for over $40m/annum budgets for a range of services including, building and grounds maintenance, refuse collection, building cleaning, and public catering in schools.

Steve migrated to Australia in 1997 initially working in local government before moving into the education sector where as a Business Development Manager he was responsible for all fee paying/commercial activity for the College of Law and Business at UWS.

Steve established his own consulting business in 2001 working primarily in the education sector and has been involved in and led projects including;

o University wide restructures, including facilitating of a new College and School structure;
o Reviews of academic and operational structures;
o Business improvement projects;
o International offshore education management and reviews; and
o Developing “Best Value” models in local government;

Steve holds a BSc Hons from the Open University in the UK and has high level skills in;

o Business strategy, planning and implementation;
o Change management and business improvement;
o Project management;
o Good governance and best value; and
o Business development

Steve is presently secretary of an education company and lectures at the University of Western Sydney in management, with a focus in the hospitality industry.

Steve is a keen sportsperson. He is a State level football (soccer) coach and has coached at the New South Wales Institute of sport working with elite women athletes including the international women's teams, the Matildas and Young Matildas.
